Jake joined the club when Birtley were battling relegation during the 24/25 campaign and was Bryson & Foster’s first signing during their second spell. Making his debut in a 2-0 defeat to Boro Rangers, Jake was a huge part in turning the team’s fortunes around which saw the side climb out of the relegation zone and finish in mid-table.
Scoring a great goal in a vital 2-0 victory over Easington, that result kick-started Birtley on a run which saw The Hoops win five out of their next seven games. Jake remains with the squad for the 25/26 season and will be another key player for The Hoops going forward.
