Kelvin burst onto the scene around two years ago when he scored a last minute winner against Consett in the First Round of the Durham Challenge Cup. After our second round opponents withdrew from the competition, Thear then helped The Hoops complete a memorable comeback against Hebburn Town in the Quarter Final where he scored two goals in a 5-4 win that had, at one point in the game, saw Birtley 4-1 down.

Kel has been missing for nearly two years with an ACL injury and we can’t wait to see him playing again.
