Spoony joined us in March 2023 from Blyth Town. A hard-tackling midfielder who is comfortable on the ball and made the shirt his own towards the end of the season.
Spoons added a dangerous set piece delivery that was pounced on in the play-off final by Aidan Rutledge to bring us level and take the game to penalties, playing a key role in the team that pushed on in our promotion bid.
Moving into the 2023/24 season, Spoony has carried on his excellent form. Despite a number of injuries to his midfield partners, Spoony has continued to maintain his high standards.
His highlight of the season so far is a memorable goal from around 45 yards at Tow Law which will surely be a contender for goal of the season.
