Owen has also had his fair share of injuries and work commitments over the last few years that have led to a stop start phase in playing. He's back now and committing full time, he's an all round defender who adds a lot to the group and I think we've a bit more to come from him this season.

Owen cemented his place in the side during the 2022/23 promotion season having made thirty appearances scoring three goals. One of the loyalist servants to the club, Owen has pulled on the Hoops jersey over 100 times alongside scoring nine goals.

Owen was been a mainstay of the 2023/24 season having started nearly every game in Northern League Division One. Owen collected both Manager’s Player and Committee player in the 25/26 season before a nasty arm injury ruled him out of the start of the 25/26 campaign.
